Association of Chess Professionals Registration Form

A chess player having the FIDE title of International Master (IM or WIM) or International Grandmaster (GM or WGM) should register his/her account and will automatically become a member upon the payment of the membership fee.

A player having none of the above mentioned titles may apply for admission. He/She will have to address an application to the ACP Board in order to prove that chess constitutes an important part of his/her professional activity, whether he/she is chess trainers, chess teachers, chess journalists, presidents of chess clubs, etc. This list is not exhaustive.

His/Her admission will be submitted to the approval of the Board and, in case of acceptance, he/she will have to pay the same annual fee as the other members.

We hope that the majority of chess professionals will support our efforts and will join the Association.

The membership fee for 1 year is 30 euros, for 2 years 55 euros, for 3 years 80 euros. For new members, the ACP fee is 50 euros for the first year. They can benefit from the discount, if they wish to pay in advance: 75 euros for 2 years, or 100 euros for 3 years.

You can pay the annual membership fee by making a transfer to the ACP bank account, or you can pay directly to one of the members of the ACP Board.

However, according to a decision of the ACP Board, a membership fee is free for new members joining the ACP as well as for old members renewing their membership, providing that they take a decision no later than on the 31st of March 2012.
